On April 29, SWEP invited 100 customers to officially inaugurate its new Chinese manufacturing plant in Suzhou, China. The event celebrated a milestone in SWEP’s growth strategy and displays the company’s confidence in the Chinese market and Asian-Pacific region.
Located in Suzhou Industrial Park Suxiang Cooperation Zone, SWEP operates over 14,000 sqm including office buildings, a customer showroom, and state-of-the-art production facilities with capability to press plates, braze and assemble heat exchangers. The integration of automated equipment and enhanced testing capabilities significantly boosts operational efficiency and quality.
“The expanded facilities in Suzhou are pivotal for SWEP to meet current and future demands in the region. The proximity to our customers and our capabilities as a global company leverage innovation, product development, and operational excellence in the region. The new location gives us great access to skilled workforces and an open business environment,” says SWEP President Ulrika Nordqvist.
Since the initiation of the Global Investment Program in 2019, SWEP has invested to strengthen production capacity in all five manufacturing sites world-wide. Fueled by the completion of each investment project, SWEP is well prepared for continuing to develop together with customers and to support the global path towards carbon neutrality and a sustainable future.
